make no mistake i'm well aware of the extent to which you understand how broken this game is, but that doesn't discount your role in actually breaking it further.
Hence it's funny to have you pointing out issues that are common knowledge you benefited from(like, sure more power to you for having the initiative but pointing the finger at a problem you had a hand in perpetuating is peak TERA).

My English should be good, i'd rather say your writing skills could have been way better than this, considering that your pvp feedback looks like taken straight from the Discord direct messages and wraped in the pandemonium of unnecessary stuff which could be omitted for the good of everyone. The fact is that you use two different terms for pvp def, which is the problem. My feedback is based on the past experiences the pvp community used to struggle (unfair ultimates, huge pvp damage taken in both cu and battlegrounds, other stuff every update).
Any change will take such "rough estimate" of time, depending on how Korea wants to imply the changes (and if).
Also, I have never mentioned I do speak on behalf of any guild, those words are mine as an individual, not anyone else's. Please restrain your emotions in the discussion, because you look rather miserable with such writing and selection of your words right now.

Yet it seems obvious you intentionally misunderstood the message without trying to understand the point.
In case the misunderstanding wasn't intentional but rather caused by the language barrier, I'm sorry, hope the reply clarified those.
My feedback is my own words, they were, however, previously posted in discussions on different social media.
I don't use two terms for pvp defense. I can agree that if a player that knows barely anything about before mentioned terms and/or is new; might misunderstand some sections which should now be clearer.

Display MoreHello, as you may know the in-game leaderboard has a lot of problems due to dungeon abuse via 3rd party, to the point we now have 40 second runs for a 5 star dungeon.
In order to prevent this from happening I suggest the following:
-add a boss protection debuff on every dungeon based on the in-game dps meter, for example if a party member does more than what the developers allow for that class, the boss gets 20-40-60-80% progressive damage reduction based on the party DPS, lasting 10 minutes, so it cannot be bursted down with scripts, it will reduce the damage it receives;
-add a maximum damage output for the whole party, if this gets pushed through the boss debuff from above apllies;
-it will bring more balance to the dungeons for all classes with fixed damage output allowed;
-it doesn't punish players at all, all it does is increase dungeon timers so they can no longer be abused by scripts.
This leaves clean players totally unaffected by this change, lowering and almost nullifying all the benefits cheaters gets from abusing. This can be very easily done, there is no need for extra programming or detection, it can all be done with what is already available in a very short amount of time with little effort.
This way you don't have to apply punishments to anyone, not even a single warning, they can still use whatever 3rd party program they like but the benefits are no longer there and no action will be further needed against players, there is no need to ban/warn a single player. Even with gross abuse, 80% damage reduction will normalize things making it fair, for events like the Tera World Dungeon that can be turned off in a specific dungeon.
it's a nice concept but it wouldn't really work, you'd kill the competitiveness with one wrong number, especially considering there are "scripts" that ignore the defense/dmg reduction in some way.. So this would be pointless scripts wise
We should get community managers that understand the limits and concepts of the endgame, maximizing anticc buffs and facetanking for the sake of dps improvement, etc

actually, pvp defense is behaving similarly to endurance, so, adding pvp defense is linearly ( or close to ) affecting the damage in pvp
Unsure if you lost your English understanding but the damage reduction is current damage compared to the old damage.

Warrior and Reaper might be considered for exclusion since they aren't as viable because their damage is reliant on stacks.

Hello, we are playing on the Mystel server.
We are participating in the Civil Unrest : Velika every week for 1-5 years now, depending on person.
We are here to express our opinion about the recent gear change.
On the following pieces:
Mysterious/Keen Frost Flower Chest/Glove/Boots ( Mythical/Legendary )
The following stat has been added : +180 pvp defense
This is approximately 70-85% damage reduction which makes the fights unbearable.
We waited a couple of weeks to see if anything would be changed without complaints but we didn't see any improvements so far.
We ask for gameforge or BHS to either recalculate the stat or buff the damage or add PvP attack proportionally.
Here are video examples of Civil Unrests after the change.
Note that Burst, Score and Insanity, on the very first week, managed to crash the CU server by fighting for 20 minutes straight without any conclusion on the victor.

And a result of the such change is this:

No fighting, no skill required, just tower farming and ending it in in 3-5 minutes.
We hereby hope that gameforge will notice the cry for help of the few leftover members of the community since we lost many members following this change as their sole reason for playing was PvP.
Suggested changes :
You can add 200k amp ( meme )
You can add 500 power ( meme )
You can add 2.5 mcp/pcp ( meme )
You can remove 240 PvP Defense ( hopefully )
You can add 270 PvP attack ( maybe )
Ideal changes :
Set a goal for a skill to hit
and yeet PvP attack on the weapon
until that goal is met
Imo, you should take a leather class with a +12 set
with 0 defensive stats
and Archer/Gunner/Slayer/Valkyrie/Warrior
And have them go with full +12 with half atk half defense jewelries
and keep adding PvP atk until each of their ults hits 105% of the above mentioned maxHp
after that
sum the PvP atks of all 4-5 ( maybe exclude warrior as ult scaled with edges and not meant to onehit anwyay so it's iffy )
take the average
and add that average to every class weapon
Then compare the damage of each class' ultimate
And nerf them/buff them ( for PvP damage only ) accordingly so they hit 105% of the above mentioned targets maxHp
That way, we don't remove the point of the ultimates
But we also make it very easy for healers to circumvent the oneshot by giving %dmg reduction/shield/defense/...
Because in a fight with a proper engage
You should have
Holy Burst affected by Edict ( 30% dmg reduction ) on you
Pledge of Protection ( 10-15% dmg reduction ( unsure ) on you
Kaia/ToP ( 100-200k hp shield ) on you
Therefore balancing the damage of everything
naturally some fillers will hit harder, some weaker
but that can be taken for additional testing
but with the stats mentioned above they'll never onehit because hardest hitting skills are set to hit 105% of maxHp
Fillers, like Mana Boost Arcane Pulse, ( one of the strongest fillers ) might reach 40-70% of maxHp on a fully unprotected class with 100% crit rate and maxed out gear for damage and no sustain at all

I understand you can't do much on your own besides forward information back and forth between the Tera staff and the Tera playerbase.
I want to remind you ( the Tera Staff ) about this as it's been almost a week since the last reply.
You are losing an entire continent of a playerbase here.
For 4 months we are unable to properly play as there is simply not enough relevant gold income.
Assuming 1 would do 16 vanguards a day on only 1 char, they are losing approx 50k gold each day, ( not mentioning all the materials ), previous patch it was 90k I believe;
On average, each player lost 9 mil of RAW gold assuming they would play only ONE char. Multiply that by the amount of characters that they have and would potentially play.
All we ask is, add 5k gold and 1 Starglimmer Transformation Vellum as a party wide loot to all of the 3 man and 5 man lvl 65+ dungeons.
And give a permanent double drop to make up for the lack of the vanguard rewards. ( SHEN ONLY )
This would make the servers playable again and players would be able to progress at the same or at least approximately the same speed as on Mystel.
Perfect fix, without any relevant room for abuse ( for anyone that wants to bring up my past ).

Hello, this issue is still under investigation by the developer, it was not forgotten. Once we have more information regarding a fix, there will be official news as well, but at the moment there is unfortunately nothing new to add..

I appreciate your answer, however, why can't we have special event by gameforge then?
It is SO SO easy to fix this for gameforge, simply add gold drop + 20 awake tokens to the last boss of a dungeon, equal to it's vanguard reward for each person of the party...
This was done before, back when triple exp event bugged people and underleveled them, you added special items to bosses to compensate for the exp loss... Some time later you added server specific compensation because some server went pepega, etc...
Therefore, I see no reason why you can not do a quick restart and add a fix for an entire community.
Which by the way, is new to your area so it's hard for them to communicate with you as they have no idea how to, caused by both, language barrier and lack of engagement with their community..
We understand that you have no major influence on the game's code, but you definitely have effect on game's events and rewards. So we hope you will read this and consider it so people can farm and prepare for the next patch...
There is an ongoing issue on Shen ( SEA ) where we are unable to claim Vanguards.
This has been ongoing for over 2 months without breaks...
Population is declining and there are only dozen players willing to play like this.
Can we get any official news about this?
Is it just to kill the population and eventually remove the server?
The suggested fixes that used to work; ( entering ghillieglade, doing instance matching, ... ); don't work anymore, so we can only wonder... Is this being done intentionally?

As it is right now, server merge is needed to keep the French and German player base active.
There are maybe 2-5 statics on both servers and that's the active player-base.
The others struggle to find groups most of the time..
Merging RU and EU isn't possible because of the different economy.
Merging Mystel+Seren+Yurian is no issue at all... And it will help fix SOME of the issues in the game.

I am aware, that specific time was a suggestion by a ru player. If you wanna go like that then make ru cu at 2 Pm Mystel time cause RU has times up to 10h ahead. So as it is now some people have to do it at 1am, to which we can apply your logic again, they need to work, study, etc... ![]()
